Executive Programme in Strategic Digital Technologies for SMEs

Overview

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) drive the EU economy, yet they must adopt new technologies to stay competitive in both EU and global markets, safeguard their operations, and achieve sustainable growth. In a landscape of rapid technological change, SMEs need to understand the strategic importance of digital transformation and how to integrate technologies such as blockchain, AI, and cybersecurity into their operations.

The Executive Programme in Strategic Digital Technologies is designed to address these very challenges, equipping SME professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate digital transformation. The programme covers the role of data management in business decisions, ethical and legal considerations in digital adoption, and leadership skills for implementing these changes effectively. Through real-world scenarios and case studies, participants will gain practical insights to apply directly to their organisations.

Designed for technical experts, entrepreneurs, and business leaders within SMEs, the programme addresses the specific challenges facing the sector. Each module offers actionable skills, empowering participants to lead meaningful digital transformation within their organisations.

What sets this programme apart is its focus on practical, applied learning. Developed as part of the EU-funded 'Training SMEs for the Digital Decade - SME4DD' initiative, the curriculum is crafted in partnership with Talent Garden, Hyper Island, and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Each partner brings unique expertise: Talent Garden fosters digital skills within a community-driven environment; Hyper Island offers forward-thinking, transformative learning; and BME provides a strong technical foundation in applied sciences, ensuring a well-rounded and impactful educational experience.
